I went here with Natalia, one of my colleague to Magritte. I did't exept anything... honestly, I have never heard this name: René Magritte. Magritte was a surrealist painter, like Salvador Dalí, Jean Miró, Max Ernst. Surrealism: surpasses realism. At the beginning, it was literary phenomenon. From 1924, Belgium became the first country outside of France to mount nascent initiatives leading to a fully-fledged surrealist scene.
